Andrea's Story

Andrea’s journey into strength sport began in 2013, when she started training to get in shape for her sister’s wedding. What began as a personal fitness goal soon developed into something much bigger. After joining CrossFit classes, Andrea quickly discovered a natural talent for lifting heavy weights, and her coach encouraged her to explore competitive strongwoman.

Following success at local competitions, Andrea entered Britain’s Strongest Woman in 2015. Despite having limited preparation for certain events, including the truck pull, she exceeded expectations by securing third place. This early achievement gave her the confidence and motivation to pursue the sport at the highest level.

In 2016, Andrea claimed the first of her four Britain’s Strongest Woman titles. That same year, she made her World’s Strongest Woman debut, finishing eighth. She improved to fourth place in 2017 before reaching the pinnacle of her career in December 2018.

Competing in Raleigh, North Carolina, Andrea won the World’s Strongest Woman title, defeating fellow Brit Donna Moore by a single point. Her performance demonstrated her versatility across the six events, including victories in the deadlift ladder and wheelbarrow carry. She returned to the competition in 2019 to finish third and secured another runner-up finish in 2022, narrowly missing out on the title by four points.

Andrea has also enjoyed considerable success at the Arnold Strongwoman Classic, finishing third in 2020 and 2023, and second in 2022. Her achievements on the international stage reflect her resilience, competitive spirit and ability to perform under pressure.
